After 15 years in residential and commercial construction, Jeff was ready for a change. In 2011, a friend who had started Waters Edge gave him the opportunity to take over the business. What began as a career pivot quickly turned into something more: a genuine passion for water features, outdoor design, and the kind of work that blends creativity with craftsmanship.

What started as a small three-man shop has grown into a skilled, close-knit team focused on building, repairing, and maintaining water features of all kinds. Over the years, Waters Edge has developed deep hands-on experience with everything from small backyard ponds to larger, more complex installations. That experience, paired with Jeff’s background in general contracting, naturally expanded into a broader outdoor living approach, one that brings together water, stone, landscape elements, and thoughtful design in a way that feels cohesive, functional, and built to last.

At its core, Waters Edge is still a small, family-oriented company that puts a high value on craftsmanship, reliability, and communication. When they say they’ll be there, they show up. Calls are answered, details are handled,and clients aren’t passed off to rotating crews or buried in a giant corporate process. The team stays hands-on, works closely together, and takes pride in doing the job the right way from the start.

No two projects are exactly the same, but the standard stays the same across all of them: honest work, close attention to detail, and a finished product everyone can be proud of.
Jeff is originally from Stillwater, Minnesota. He’s married with two children, and when he’s not working, he enjoys camping with his family, hockey, and dirt biking.
